A DOULA'S PURPOSE

As your doula, my goal is to give you and your family the attention and knowledge you need to make informed decisions throughout your pregnancy and labor. I had an unmedicated birth center birth in February 2022 and the experience gave me a new perspective and desire to help birthing women.

I began my journey as a doula in 2021 and consider myself blessed to have found such a fulfilling and flexible career. I love working with expectant mothers and their families to help them navigate the birth and labor process. I look at each new birth as a unique experience. I provide mothers with the encouragement and motivation they need.

A doula's job is to provide clients with community resources, emotional support, and physical comfort measures during labor. Whether you are having a homebirth or hospital, using medication or going au natural, single or partnered, I am here to be with you and support you.

I believe that every woman deserves a doula if they desire one. I am committed to offering my services at low rates so that I can help all women in our rural community. Currently, I am learning Spanish working towards being able to serve the Spanish-speaking community in the future.
